The Importance of Staying Hydrated
Many people overlook the importance of staying hydrated. You should aim for drinking at least half of your body weight in water in ounces, that’s about 3 liters a day. So if you weigh 150lbs (68kg) you should be drinking about 75 ounces (2.21L) of water (on a normal day), and even more if you are physically exerting yourself. When you drink more water, your body benefits in the following ways to name a few: better digestion, detoxification, your skin is less dry, you eat less (most people confuse being hungry with actually being thirsty), less headaches (and less hangovers), etc.
