Taking a much needed rest day!

I will rest today, and it will be a not so active rest day. I totally feel guilty about this, but I know I have to listen to my body. My whole body is sore and fatigued, and I didn’t sleep too well last night.

Today I woke up with a sore throat, kinda itchy and making me cough.  I am probably run down from the lack of sleep I have been getting. Sleep is so critical for your body to recover and heal itself. I have been pushing myself lately, perhaps a little too hard. What’s your favorite sore throat remedy? Right now I have some ricola cough drops (original flavor), and I will probably have some hot tea a little later in addition to taking large quantities of vitamin c. Any suggestions are welcome….to aid in getting over this sickness…cause let’s face it no one enjoys being sick!
